It feels quite normal when you fill out an application that the question is asked; “where do you live and what is your address?”. Most people easily comply by providing their local address and contact information. Where we live plays a crucial role in shaping our daily experiences, perspectives, and interactions with the world. By intentionally creating a dwelling place that aligns with your values, beliefs, and aspirations, you can cultivate a sense of inner peace, purpose, and fulfillment that translates into all aspects of your life.
We create the environment in which we live. The size and style of the house, color, furniture, comfort, privacy, the city, and state. It is from this place that we come in to rest and go out to face the world every day. Some people may feel like they have no choice, but you do. Do you know that you have been invited to dwell in heavenly places, where God resides? Although your body remains here on earth your spirit man can go to the high places. It is not only possible but it's necessary for a fulfilling life. This concept is rooted in the Holy Bible, which teaches us that we have been given the choice of life or death. I invite you to choose life!
Psalm 33:14 - From His dwelling place He looks [intently] upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
Ephesians 2:6 - And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 1:3 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Psalm 23:6 - Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days, the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.
Ultimately God has desired that you and I become His abode! Imagine the Creator of the Universe wants to dwell inside of us! We were made to be a holy habitation for the LORD! Ephesians 2:22 - In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode(dwelling place) of God in (by, through) the Spirit.
Discover how to dwell in heavenly places while still living on earth. May this knowledge bring you peace, joy, and a deeper understanding of your relationship with God.
This was a good analogy of the love of God. How He made provision for us on earth and in heaven.
